COVID-19 VISITATION (UPDATED 3.26.21)

Greetings!

We are excited to announce the NEW guidance on indoor visitations and non-medical outings!

INDOOR VISITATION:

  1. Visitors MUST screen prior to entering the facility each time they visit. Screening includes: checking temperature, sharing if any COVID symptoms are present, and answering questions about any recent close contact with COVID positive person
  2. Visitors MUST wear masks at all times during visits
  3. Visitors MUST clean hands upon entering and at departure
  4. Visitors should go directly to resident room and remain in there until visit is complete. Visitors should not engage in conversations with other staff or residents during visit.
  5. Children must be supervised and in control of an adult during duration of visit.
  6. Outdoor visitation continues to be preferred whenever feasible.
  7. Groups of 3 may visit in room at a time.

NON-MEDICAL OUTINGS:

  1. Residents who are fully vaccinated (two weeks following 2nd dose) DO NOT have to quarantine after non-medically necessary outings unless they spend 15 minutes or more in a 24-hour period within 6 feet of someone who can spread COVID-19 (high risk exposure)
  2. If the resident is fully vaccinated, they can choose to have close contact (including touch) with the people they are visiting.
  3. If a resident who is fully vaccinated chooses to attend a place of worship or other group event, or to shop or eat in public establishments, the resident should follow the core principles of COVID-19 infection prevention.

CORE PRINCIPLES OF COVID-19 INFECTION PREVENTIOIN:

  1. Screen prior to entering facility
  2. Hand hygiene, using alcohol-based hand rub
  3. Face covers/masks shielding both mouth and nose
  4. Minimal six-foot social distancing

Our skilled nursing home care facility provides round-the-clock nursing support and significant assistance with the activities of daily life. We have nursing staff on duty 24 hours a day to help individuals meet their daily physical, social and psychological needs.
