Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy
LifeCare Medical Center Physical Therapists provide services throughout Roseau County. Each day, they help many people in the community overcome disabilities caused by accidents, illnesses, wounds or chronic conditions.
Physical therapists use temperature, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, massage and exercise to treat a variety of medical conditions and injuries.
A therapist may specialize in treating specific areas, such as the back, neck, knee or shoulder. Some physical therapists focus on sports injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, amputations or other conditions.

Not all insurances require a referral to be seen by a physical therapist. Please check with your insurance prior to your initial evaluation.
The quality and speed of your recovery depend largely on you. The time and effort you invest in your therapy program will help you enjoy the best possible outcome.
Your physical therapist will maintain a careful record of your progress and periodically re-evaluate your condition. You are encouraged to ask questions and openly discuss problems.
During your initial visit, the physical therapist will evaluate your condition. This involves reviewing your health history, determining how you could benefit from physical therapy, outlining treatment goals and developing a plan.
