Babysitter Education

The BLAST! (Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training) program provides training in pediatric first aid, household safety, and the fundamentals of childcare. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion, course materials, babysitting bag, and a mini first aid kit. The BLAST! course is designed for potential babysitters ages 11-14. This comprehensive training program can prepare children to interview for a babysitting job, select safe and suitable games and activities, prevent accidents, perform first aid, and begin babysitting safely and competently. Class is limited to 20 students. Cost is $20. 2023 Babysitter Education When: TBD Where: LifeCare Medical Center Auxiliary Room Time: 9am-2pm Minnesota Department of Health continues to require masking in health care facilities; please plan accordingly. If you are experiencing any Covid-like symptoms, you are unable to attend the class.
