I Can Prevent Diabetes is a collaborative, community-based, lifestyle change program designed for people with pre-diabetes or at risk for type 2 diabetes.
Type 2 diabetes can be prevented or delayed in people with pre-diabetes if they make simple changes to increase physical activity and lose weight. This program provides the tools including education and support to prevent or delay adult type 2 diabetes.
This Evidence-Based 16 Week Class with 8 Monthly Post-core Maintenance Curriculum is a proven program that can help people with prediabetes and/or at risk for type 2 diabetes make achievable and realistic lifestyle changes and cut their risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58 percent.
I CAN PREVENT DIABETES will be held on Wednesdays beginning January 2019.
