2023 Prenatal Classes Offerings
It is recommended that the Childbirth and Parenting class be taken during the fifth or sixth month of pregnancy in order for you to have time to practice the breathing and relaxation exercises. This will also give you time to discuss concerns and plans for your labor and delivery with your doctor well before your baby is due to be born.
Preparing for Childbirth
This is a two night course. You will learn signs of labor, stages of labor, positioning and comfort measures. Unexpected outcomes will be discussed. A tour of the birthing center will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat and/or birthing ball if you would like.

Bringing Home Baby
Have you ever tried to install a car seat into a vehicle? Do you know how a newborn baby should be placed in their car seat? Four out of five car seats are used incorrectly, and we want to assure that you are transporting your “precious cargo” safely after your delivery. This class is designed for expectant parents, grandparents, or caretakers of newborn babies. We would encourage you to take the class prior to delivery. If you already have purchased a car seat, feel free to bring it with and we will provide hands-on training on how to properly install the car seat into your vehicle.
February 6th | 6:00-9:00 p.m.
May 1st | 6:00-9:00 p.m.
August 28th| 6:00-9:00 p.m.
October 30th | 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Please meet in the ER lobby on the first night of class. Your instructor will show you to the Auxiliary Room.
