Ways to Give

If continuing to provide quality health care services for future generations is important to you, we invite you to explore the many ways you can contribute to the LifeCare Health Care Fund. Your generosity enables us to support vital health care programs, projects, and initiatives right here in Roseau County and our surrounding communities.

There are many ways your contributions, both your money and your time, can truly make a difference. Every gift, no matter the size, creates a meaningful impact. You can direct your contribution to one of our nine dedicated funds, allowing you to support the cause that resonates most with you. No matter how or where you choose to give, your investment leads to more lives changed and fosters more good, ensuring local health care programs and initiatives thrive for years to come.

Individual Gifts

Gifts made by cash, check or credit card are convenient and tax deductible.  They may be received in two ways:

  • Credit Cards: On LifeCare Medical Center’s website
  • Cash or Check: Mail to:
LifeCare Health Care Fund
715 Delmore Drive
Roseau, MN 56751
Memorial Program

Established in 2006, the Memorial Program offers a meaningful way to honor or remember loved ones through tax-deductible gifts directed to any of our nine funds.

You can send a beautiful complimentary sympathy card to your loved one and return the memorial envelope to the LifeCare Health Care Fund, selecting the fund you wish to support. The gift amount remains confidential, and the donor receives a tax receipt for income tax purposes.

Complimentary sympathy cards and memorial envelopes are available at LifeCare Medical Center, Greenbush Manor, Roseau Manor, area funeral homes, and the Neighborhood Nook gift shop. Gifts can also be made through LifeCare Medical Center’s website.

For memorial envelopes, sympathy cards, or more information, contact Tanya Semingson at 218.463.4742. Gifts can be made via cash, check, or credit card.

Gifts of Property

Assets such as stocks, bonds, or other properties that have gained value during the time you owned them can offer extra tax savings while ensuring a well-positioned future for health care in Roseau County. Another option to consider is a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), which allows individuals aged 73 and older to make a direct contribution from their IRA to LifeCare Health Care Fund. The QCD, which counts toward meeting their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), provides a way to give without having to claim the amount as income.
