Diabetes Center

LifeCare Medical Center is a partner with the Altru Health System in the Roseau Area Diabetes Center. The purpose of the Diabetes Center is to provide education for the management and prevention of diabetes for its patients, families, health care providers in our community. Roseau Area Diabetes Center is dedicated to a team approach of treating diabetes so that people in our area will feel confident with the up-to-date diabetes care provided close to home by healthcare professionals they know and trust.

I Can Prevent Diabetes Class

I Can Prevent Diabetes is a collaborative, community-based, lifestyle change program designed for people with pre-diabetes or at risk for type 2 diabetes.

Type 2 diabetes can be prevented or delayed in people with pre-diabetes if they make simple changes to increase physical activity and lose weight. This program provides the tools including education and support to prevent or delay adult type 2 diabetes.
