Nursing Assistant Class

LifeCare offers in-person classes in March/April, July and October/November. Our next class will start in March 2024 and will be an evening class. Anyone 15+ is eligible to join.  What is a Nursing Assistant? As a caregiver, our nursing assistants make an incredible impact on the lives of others. As a LifeCare employee you have the opportunity to experience a rewarding career! For information on how you could become a nursing assistant and/or begin a career of compassion and skilled patient care at LifeCare Medical Center, please complete the nursing assistant questionnaire below. Contact Karena Dunham at [email protected] for more information or questions about becoming a CNA. *You are eligible to take the class at age 15 so you are qualified to be employed at age 16. +++ In-person nursing assistant classes are offered in March/April, July and October/November. CNA classes are also offered at Roseau and Greenbush-Middle River High Schools for high school students. The option of class sponsorship to cover the cost of class is available. You can also work towards challenging the state test if you have let your certification expire and would like to continue working as a certified nursing assistant. +++ We do offer an OnTrack, online nursing assistant training (available anytime) that requires 43 hours online training, 16 hours of skills on-site, and 16 hours of clinical at a local nursing home.
