Abby Trinka

Abby Trinka is an experienced Occupational Therapist at LifeCare Medical Center, bringing over 10 years of practice to the team. She earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota and previously worked at Lakewood Health System in Staples, MN, before joining LifeCare in 2019.

Abby enjoys the variety that comes with practicing in a rural community, where each day looks a little different and she gets to work with patients of all ages. She believes in building strong, trusting relationships and takes time to understand each patient’s unique needs. Her approach focuses on identifying what may be limiting someone’s daily life and helping them return to the meaningful activities that matter most to them.

Raised in the Badger/Greenbush area, Abby and her husband chose to return home to be closer to family and to raise their children in a small, close-knit community.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends. She loves being outdoors—whether that’s tending to their hobby farm, riding horse, gardening, baking, or ice fishing.
