Miranda Tunheim is a Family Nurse Practitioner at LifeCare Medical Center, providing care for patients of all ages. She completed her education and training at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks and joined LifeCare in 2017, initially working as an acute care RN before transitioning into family medicine.
Originally from Thief River Falls, Minnesota, Miranda quickly felt at home in Roseau. She was drawn to the strong sense of community, the opportunities for professional growth at LifeCare, and the chance to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle northern Minnesota offers. Miranda takes a collaborative approach to patient care, believing that both the provider and patient share responsibility in achieving the best outcomes. She prioritizes continuity of care, open communication, and making sure her patients feel supported and involved in every step of their health journey.
Outside of work, Miranda enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband—hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and exploring northern Minnesota’s trails and lakes year-round.
