About
Anna Stein is a Clinical Psychologist with LifeCare Behavioral Health, where she provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for patients of all ages. Her assessment work includes ADHD, Autism, cognitive and learning evaluations, memory testing, pre-surgical and bariatric assessments, and court-ordered evaluations. Anna has always been drawn to the field of psychology, and she values the opportunity to help individuals better understand their mental health and take meaningful steps toward well-being. Anna completed her undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College, majoring in Psychology, Women’s Studies, and Family Studies. She went on to earn her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University and is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Minnesota. After her training, Anna chose to return to Roseau County to practice in a smaller, close-knit community. With family ties to Roseau and memories of living here during childhood, coming back felt like the right fit—both personally and professionally. Anna approaches her work with authenticity, transparency, and a deep commitment to advocating for her clients. She incorporates education into her evaluations to ensure patients clearly understand their results and the care being provided. When offering therapy, she primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while also integrating other approaches based on each client’s needs. Outside of work, Anna enjoys reading, cooking, baking, and spending quality time at home with her husband and their three dogs—a perfect day in her book.
