Why is Altru transitioning the clinic to LifeCare?
Altru firmly believes in keeping care close to home. We understand the value of an integrated
clinic and hospital model. After evaluating many options LifeCare is best suited to deliver
primary care and clinic services to Roseau, Warroad and Greenbush.
What will happen to my appointment?
Altru and LifeCare are working together to ensure any existing appointments with Altru or
LifeCare will continue as planned.
How will this affect my telemedicine appointment, pharmacy, lab results, insurance?
We expect a seamless transition of these services from Altru to LifeCare. Any appointments you
have scheduled will remain scheduled at the existing time.
Will my medical records transfer?
Yes. Altru and LifeCare are collaborating to ensure your records are successfully transitioned to
LifeCare. We will not ask any patients to take steps to ensure this process is completed.
Will MyChart transition from Altru to LifeCare?
No. As Altru and LifeCare are committed to working together to best serve you, our MyChart
system will still be attached to Altru. You will not be required to take any further steps to
transition your medical records.
What are the clinic hours during the transition?
Altru Clinic Greenbush will be closed Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12.
Altru Clinic Roseau will be open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 11. The Express Clinic
will be open from 8 a.m. – noon on Friday, July 12.
Altru Clinic Warroad will be open from 8 a.m. – 5p.m. on Thursday, July 11. The clinic will be
open to patients with scheduled appointments from 8 a.m. – noon on Friday, July 12.
On Monday, July 15, the clinics will re-open as LifeCare clinics at 8 a.m. in Roseau and
Warroad.
What services will Altru offer after the transition?
Altru will continue to provide specialty services in Roseau within LifeCare’s clinic space.
Cardiology, dermatology, ENT, nephrology, OB/GYN, oncology, orthopedics, urology and
vascular surgery will all be offered.
Will my dialysis treatments continue?
Yes, dialysis services will continue to be provided by Altru at LifeCare Clinic Roseau.
Will the phone number change?
No.
Greenbush can be reached at 218.782.2400.
Roseau can be reached at 218.463.1365.
Warroad can be reached at 218.386.2020.
How will this affect my insurance coverage?
