CANCER CARE
The Cancer Care Committee consists of hospital, nursing
home, home health care, hospice and clinic nurses. They meet
monthly and work with patients in the community with the
diagnosis of cancer. if the patient is hospitalized, a cancer
care nurse is assigned to the patient when possible to provide
for a continuum of care. The Cancer Care Committee is
instrumental in establishing Hospice and pain management
services.
