LifeCare Medical Center Healthcare Scholarship
LifeCare Medical Center offers two different scholarships to Roseau County students who plan to pursue a career in a healthcare related field.
LifeCare Medical Center Scholarship Fund
A scholarship offered to Roseau County high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in a healthcare related field. The intention of the fund is to encourage and promote qualified individuals from the LifeCare service area to pursue healthcare careers.
Up to four, $1,000 Healthcare Scholarships will be awarded during Fall of each year. They are funded each year for high school students through the sales generated from the LifeCare Neighborhood Nook Gift and Coffee Shop located at the Hospital. The Neighborhood Nook is staffed by community volunteers. We thank them for helping to support the funding of this Healthcare Scholarship Program.
LifeCare Medical Student Scholarship
A scholarship available to Roseau County students who are currently enrolled in a healthcare related, post-secondary or graduate academic program and completed at least one year of school in their major field of study. The intention of the scholarship is to express LifeCare’s support for healthcare related careers and encourage students to continue their studies in their chosen field.
Up to two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded in the spring each year. Scholarships are funded by LifeCare Medical Center, a not-for-profit organization that includes the hospital, LifeCare Senior Living, Roseau Manor, Greenbush Manor, Home Care and Hospice, Public Health, and Rehabilitation Services.
